According to a new report from Star Magazine, Justin Timberlake is ‘refusing’ to help Jessica Biel launch her new signing career, considering that her acting career has considerably stalled over the past few years.
A source explains, “[Justin] leaned on Jessica for help to build his acting career, [but is now] reluctant to return the favor.” The source adds, “She begged Justin to record a duet with her, but he’s refusing. He thinks it will look bad.” However, apparently Jessica is “determined to find success, [and] with or without him, she plans to release a single.”
Well, I highly doubt Justin ‘leaned on’ Jessica to help build his acting career. It’s not like she’s a brilliant thespian with many credits to her name, and Justin’s name carries a lot more clout than hers. In fact, in the few years that he’s been acting, he’s already landed more prestigious roles than her. That’s not to say that he’s a talented actor – I think we can all agree that he’s not. But I don’t think Jessica really had much to offer in the way of ‘support’ when Justin was first starting out as an actor.
But Justin would definitely be in a position to help Jessica in the music industry, if she does indeed want to start a singing career. But would he refuse to help her? Well, Justin isn’t exactly known for being the most generous person in the world when it comes to career advice, but you’d think he would help his wife, right?
